Abstract Paintings

Original paintings built in layers and scraped back, so that earlier marks surface through the later ones, with a few weighted forms and the red line held in balance over the top. The work moves between two series. The Still Point is open and restrained, balance held under tension. Palimpsest is layered and dense, with what lies beneath rising through the paint. Asclepius sits between them as the bridge. Every painting is signed and comes with a certificate. Signed prints of selected works are also available.
